MIA!!

Hello my lovely preps,
I have been MIA for ages I know. I have just got a new laptop so getting it all set up took a bit of time. We also had a terrible tragedy in my school, one of my favorite teachers found the need to unfortunately take his own life. It has turned my school and my life upside down for the past few weeks life is just getting back to normal slowly. It has been an awful time for everyone who knew him and my thoughts go out to his family daily.

Now on to some happier news. I am sure all of you know a website called Glitzy glam. If you don't here is the web address www.glitzy-glam.com . They have the cutest Lilly Pulitzer stationary I am definitely going to be getting some for myself and some for Christmas presents. They are just the perfect gifts.

I have missed you all so much and will be able to blog much more often now that my new laptop is up and running. It is a cute new Sony VAIO. I love it and it's super fast.

The count down to school!

Howdy to all my bloggy preps,

I am officially back to school on the 31st and am a little bit excited is that strange? I guess it's nice to have some direction and knowing that this is my final year that there is no way out. There is no room for disappointment this year which is going to mean work, work and a little bit more work. I'm looking forward to starting school again, I enjoy my days having purpose , in the summer my days are not filled and I get so lazy.

My school has a uniform so I don't have to worry about outfits every day. In one way this is a curse because school is just the perfect place to wear crisp white shirts and cute little skirts but on the other hand I don't have to plan a new outfit everyday. I wish I was more like Little bow prep she is so organised and in my eyes the perfect student maybe by reading her amazing blog (which you should all check out if you don't already) I can channel some of her organisation and work ethic.

P.S: Preppy Pink Crocodile I miss reading your blog since you have gone private could you please invite me to read.

Following your dreams wherever they may take you!

Hello my lovely preps,
It's that time of year again....it's back to school season . This year is my final year in school and is going to be crazy . I'm going to walk you through what it's like to be a final year student in Ireland . I will try and keep you updated on everything all the pressures and the scary final exams that are going to be hurtling my way this year. More than likely in may next year i will be sobbing for you help and advice.
Now my lovely preps I need some help. I am full swing into looking at collages and I am in a bit of a dilemma. I have always wanted to be a vet and have never given up on that dream I have no plan B it is a vet or nothing. There is only one collage in Ireland that teaches veterinary and they only take 45 students a year and they require almost perfect exam results to even be considered. Now here is my dilemma while I will of course try my very hardest to achieve the required results if i should not obtain them there is a university in Budapest, Hungary that teaches veterinary in English and is a very prestigious University. The fees are high but my parents are willing to pay and are more than happy for me to move there for 5 years if it means getting what i want in life BUT.... I am a wimp and am a bit scared to move by myself and to a country that does not speak English as it's first language is this silly should i follow my dream abroad wherever it may take me?

Preppy hello!

I have been having a wonderful summer with my family and have been missing for ages. I spent some time abroad and then for two weeks we rented the most beautiful little cottage in Co.Kerry. It wasn't to far from home but we just chilled out and did some sight seeing. I always for get how many beautiful things are close to my home but i never go to see them. So i have been enjoying my summer even if it has been a bit washed out, the weather has been terrible. My family is all about making the best of any situation . So on one of the worst days we visited the most beautiful house, it really was spectacular right down to the Parisian rugs from the 1600's. I t was amazing and i got a few photos so I'll post them up soon. I've missed all of my bloggy pals and hope to catch up soon.

Dublin Shopping.

I just wanted to show you a few of the things i purchased while in Dublin.

My navy ballet pumps which i adore.

A mock crock bag which wouldn't usually be my style but as the main part of an outfit it looks amazing. It is the most adorable dusty rose colour.

I really needed a cute light cardigan for the summer this one is perfect with a white tank underneath. I got this one in navy blue and this coral colour.

Wedding!!!

I've got to attend a wedding in a few weeks it is a very small affair and very casual. I wanted your thoughts on some dresses. It's in England so the weather wont be that warm and it could very well be raining.

( I'm sorry i couldn't get a photo apart from the one on the site)

Dress 2 (Monsoon €60)

The first dress is the one i think I'll get. I don't have any time to go on a proper shopping trip so I just have to get a dress from a shop close to my home.

I hope all of the wonderful preppy bloggers are happy and healthy.
